About Me
I am a British producer & DJ that has been based in Spain for 7 years and currently resides in Granada. My tracks and mixes are a blend of summery, dreamy synths, house rhythms and old school vocals. I have released on different labels around the world, such as Personal Belongings, Y4 Collective and M-Sol Records to name a few.
In 2025 I played in Germany in May, and organised an audiovisual event in Barcelona, 'Prismática', with two other artists where deep house and abstract art met to provide a unique experience. January 2025 also saw the birth of my own progressive house record label, 'Retrofracted Records'.
FUN FACTS
The name 'Retrofract' comes from a South African fern called 'Asparagus Retrofractus' that I found in the Barbican in London.
I can speak three languages and am learning a fourth.
When I'm not producing, DJing or promoting my work, I teach English as a foreign language.
